The New Assault Rules

In my opinion I like the rules, they clarify a lot of the "ify" rules, and they make things much easier. One of my favorites would be the "When a unit shoots in the shooting phase, if they choose to assault they have to assault the unit upon whom they fired at"

Assembling A Hive Tyrant
Posted on August 9th, 2003 No commentsMany people have trouble assembling their Hive Tyrants, sometimes a stance wont be right, or it will be weighted to far forward or backwards. So first off, you'll notice that on the left foot is a large round piece, that piece evens out the legs so that it isn't lop-sided when you put it on the base.

Stripping Miniatures Guide
Posted on August 7th, 2003 No commentsStripping minatures is easy, most people see a miniature with a really poor paintjob with a really low price tag but pass it up because they either dont know how to strip miniatures or think that its too hard. This is so easy, even Highland Piper could do it.

Painting Faces

Everyone knows that the face on the mini can make or break the whole look. Personally, I think it’s the eyes are the problem (for me at least) I hate to admit how many I’ve done that end up looking like deer caught in the headlights.

Building a Dungeon
Posted on August 4th, 2003 No commentsMy first project after building the standard buildings on the Hirstarts Site was to attempt a Dungeon. Since this my first Dungeon so I thought Id document the process. Larger pictures can be found in my Gallery Album I'm just going to use thumbnails here so that it flows better. In building a dungeon there is one main question to answer: What type of floor pattern am I going to use?
